What’s the Link Between Query Forwarding and Creating Expert Profiles?
Posted by Dan Forbush on October 2nd, 2006When you forward a query manually to any expert for whom you’ve not yet created an expert profile, you’ll see that you’re prompted to fill in a few contact fields, including name, title, organization, and email address. Having done this, the only remaining step to seat this expert as a searchable source in the ProfNet Database is to fill out a Summary of Expertise field. When content is added to this field, the system will recognize your intent to create a searchable profile, and the expert will be added to the Database.
You’ll find a list of all of your experts by clicking the My Experts tab in My Organization.
